About DOBROYE HB Tablet

DOBROYE HB Tablet belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

DOBROYE HB Tablet is a combination of three drugs: Ferrous ascorbate 100mg (iron supplement) and folic acid 1.mg (a form of vitamin B9), Zinc 22.5mg.

DOBROYE HB Tablet works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBC is produced in the body, so that body's each tissue gets sufficient supply of oxygen. Take DOBROYE HB Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take DOBROYE HB Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark coloured stool. Most of these side effects of DOBROYE HB Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic DOBROYE HB Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using DOBROYE HB Tablet 15. DOBROYE HB Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if prescribed by a doctor. If you have an allergy to any sugars, inform your doctor before taking DOBROYE HB Tablet as it may contain lactose. If you have a stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking DOBROYE HB Tablet.

Directions for Use

The oral tablet form of DOBROYE HB Tablet can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. The injection form of DOBROYE HB Tablet is given by a doctor or nurse. Do not self-administer.
